all the squaresoft games except for ffVII are made from the official square pdf, and are really good quality

the disc ID is not important if you are using 3.03oe, they will work with any game (thanks to Veskgar at dcemu for pointing this out)

the disc ID must be identical if you are using 3.10oe

All except metal gear and FF7 are under 10mb, (i made those two before the compression support)

Thanks for posting your manuals and for including the Sony disc ID with them. I will be updating mine to include that soon.

It seems the disk ID is irrelevant so I won't be adding it. After some testing I found that any document.dat with any ID worked with any game.

You may want to share them thorugh a different service than rapidshare. I could only get two (though one window got closed so I only got one).

if yourISP uses dynamic ip, unplug your router, then plug it back in. you will have a new ip and can use rapidshare again without waiting. you can do this as often as you wish.

also, after you type the security message, wait about 20 seconds before clicking download, or you may get a javascript error

i would like to start posting these, but i am confused on how you do it. do you take pics of it and then make it into a document.dat or do you download them from some where?

Thanks for the C&C:Red Alert manual.

The Silent Hill one doesn't work. I download the rar, then I extract it, copy the document.dat file and paste it in the SLUS00707 folder that contains my SH EBOOT and KEYS file. But when I load the game and go to software manual, it says: The software manual for this title is unavailable or something like that. HELP!!!

STP, I have confirmed that the document.dat does have the correct disc id of SLUS00707 and it sounds like you are extracting and putting the file in the correct location. The only thing I can think of is that your game may be a different id. Please follow step 1 of my tutorial to find out the exact disc id of your eboot.php. If it is different, step 2 will show you how to change the document.dat disc id. The tutorial is here: [www.psxpspmanuals.com]. Let me know if that helps.

I did that. It says my game's ID is SLUS00707. Another question. What if I want to compress my EBOOT into a smaller file without losing much quality?

My last thought is that your memory card may be corrupt. One other person had this problem. After reformatting the card and putting the files back on the manual worked fine.

BUT it's japanese.

if you wish to use it with an american release of einhander, you will need to use a program like icetea to change the game id number
(go to manual/patch game id, and enter the same id as your eboot)

and for the people who cant get my stuff working, i do personally test every one i make before i upload, and just now i downloaded silent hill from orbitfiles to test, and it works fine.(i'm using 3.10oe-a, with pops 11 plugin)

The monthly bandwidth for orbitfiles was simply exceeded. Please check back on the first of the month. I am working to get a backup link going for all of the manuals. Sorry for the difficulty.

May I suggest you use Megaupload or Rapidshare to host the manuals because they won't penalize you for exceeding any bandwidth limits, also I'm sure most people won't want to bother coming back at the 1st of the month just to compete with one another before the bandwidth limit is once again exceeded. So do yourself a favour and (everyone else) and use the free, generous and decent host(s) that I've suggested because they will continue hosting your files as long as they are being downloaded, which is a shedload better than what "orbitfiles" is doing, they're punishing you for having popular files.

I'm sure it won't take you long to realize it's rather idiotic to continue hosting the manuals at "orbitfiles".
